| Gary Berner I am a practicing dentist in Oak Harbor. My wife Nancy and I are natives to Oak Harbor. I have been blowing glass as a hobby for the last 8+ years at Due Vetro Studios in Oak Harbor. Recently I have been combining fused glass into the blown glass technique which allows more interesting color detail and arrangements within the blown glass. I am inspired by colors in the natural world which I incorporate into my art. My work has been exhibited at the Museum of Northwest Art in La Connor as well as the Garry Oak Gallery and Earthenworks Gallery in Port Townsend and La Connor. I also participate in local art shows. My patients are treated to an ever evolving art experience when they visit my dental office, where I love to share my passions for dentistry and glass. |
