In 2008, artist-owned Garry Oak Gallery opened to become Oak Harbor's first major co-op gallery and became a part of the vibrant Whidbey Island art  community.  With a dedicated group of more than twenty-five established and emerging artists, Garry Oak brings new and original works of art on display to the delight of both locals and visitors.

As one of many Whidbey Island art galleries, Garry Oak Gallery provides a unique balance of both high- end fine art as well as a generous supply of easily affordable art work as well.  We also carry note cards that feature our artists' work.

Come on in!  At least one of our artists is always in the gallery, and he or she would love to talk with you about your art desires.

Jeanne Valdez 
 
We proudly are featuring the work of Jeanne Valdez for the month of February. Jeanne works mainly in acrylic, watercolor, oil, mixed media, and pen & ink. She chooses to paint subjects that inspire her and through her use of color, shadow and light, she defines the features she feels are important. Depending on the complexity or simplicity of the subject, her paintings may be loosely rendered or highly defined.
