In 2008, artist-owned Garry Oak Gallery opened to become Oak Harbor's first major co-op gallery and became a part of the vibrant Whidbey Island art community. With a dedicated group of more than twenty-five established and emerging artists, Garry Oak brings new and original works of art on display to the delight of both locals and visitors. As one of many Whidbey Island art galleries, Garry Oak Gallery provides a unique balance of both high- end fine art as well as a generous supply of easily affordable art work as well. We also carry note cards that feature our artists' work.
Come on in! At least one of our artists is always in the gallery, and he or she would love to talk with you about your art desires.
Garry Oak Gallery currently has openings for 2D and 3D artists. Click here to learn about becoming a member and to download the application form or you can come by the Gallery and pick up an application. We are a supportive group or artists and would love to see your artwork!
We are pleased to host guest Artist Marcia Muchnick's pottery and work by the Garry Oak Society whose work is handcrafted from Garry oak wood and whose proceeds go toward the preservation of our treasured tree.
