Shirley has shipped her framed prints to homes in Sweden , Florida , Maryland , Nova Scotia , Switzerland , China , California , Alaska , Ohio , and North Carolina .  Several of her pictures are displayed at the University of Texas’s President’s home.  She really enjoys living and photographing in the Pacific Northwest .  Her photographs are displayed at her gallery in her home at Big Lake . 

They are also displayed at the following:   Deception Pass Visitors Center which is located on Whidbey Island . Also in Garry Oak Gallery in Oak Harbor.  In Mount Vernon, the pictures are in the Resource Center. Her note cards are in the Valley Pharmacy, Big Lake Grocery, Wild Bird Supply and Melody’s Flower Shop in Burlington .

Shirley’s photographs have won several awards.  Among the awards, she won the top award at Sequim Arts in 2007, and one of her tulip prints was featured on the Skagit Art Association postcard for advertising in 2008, 

She is past president of the Skagit Art Association and is President again in 2009.  She is a member of the Washington State Music Teachers Association, of which she a nationally and state certified teacher.  She is also a charter member of NANPA-North America Nature Photography Association.
