Whether in oils, acrylics, charcoal or pastels I portray to my viewers a glimpse of the awe and appreciation that I feel and the peace that I find when opening my eyes to see the beauty of creation.
My paintings are usually landscapes or waterscapes. These can include people, boats, buildings and creatures such as birds. Though I reference from my own photographs (some plein air), I reserve the right to make changes at will. I also paint an occasional abstract.

Philosophy: My paintings are of the world as seen through my eyes; clear, clean and peaceful. By bringing some of the outdoors in to display on walls, I hope that the viewers can absorb a bit of that peace into their lives.
