Elizabeth Moncrief

Guest Artist
Weaver & Textile Artist

Elizabeth Moncrief
Artist Statement:
I weave as part of our collective heritage but also to produce beautiful textiles.  It’s both an art and a skill that I have pursued for 20 years and have the greatest joy from teaching both beginning weaving and advanced workshops.  It’s a very ‘grounding’ exercise which combines physics, math and creativity and it forces me, willingly, to use every part of my brain.

I currently teach weaving workshops for Skagit Valley College and various weavings guilds in Washington, Oregon and British Columbia.
