Membership in Garry Oak Gallery
Garry Oak Gallery is a collaboration of over 20 artists who, as a group, operate and maintain the Gallery. Selection of new artists is through the jury process voted on by all full members. The Gallery strives to maintain a selection of work available for the public, and therefore, the selection of new artists is based on what is best for the Gallery, not the chronological order in which they submitted their application.
All full members are required to work the Gallery sales desk two days per month and to serve on a committee as part of the operation and maintenance of the Gallery. Full members pay monthly dues and are charged a commission on sales.
It is expected that all members will comply with the procedures published in the Operating Manual and abide by the By-Laws of the corporation.
Members are not to display their work for sale at other establishments on a full time basis within the city limits of Oak Harbor. Exceptions are local art shows held throughout the year.
Garry Oak Gallery accepts no liability against loss or damage of the art work displayed.
