Background
Art and photography have always been a part of me. I bought my first SLR camera when I entered high school in the 60's and I still have that camera. Throughout schooling, career, fathering a fine family of three talented children, now grown, and being a doting Grandfather, I have always found a tranquility when looking through the lens. My wife Dee and I relocated here to Whidbey Island from Northern Illinois in 2003. I am still excited and continually amazed by the world just outside our door.

Artist Statement:
I am so grateful to live in the Pacific Northwest. There is such beauty and variety just out there. I am passionate about finding that beauty available wherever we are. I have been taking pictures a long time. With the camera, I focus my attention to the here and now. Taking pictures lets me see the divinity in everyday actions. Sometimes I am able get that decisive moment of grace into the photo. Thankfully, there are many moments. I am so grateful to live in the Pacific Northwest.
