Beth has been photographing Whidbey Island and the surrounding area since she and her husband retired to Oak Harbor in 2013. She has a background as an architect and has studied art all of her life. Capturing mood and the feeling of a scene is her primary photographic goal. She also specializes in bird photography and has a website entirely devoted to this subject. Some of her detail photographs have morphed into kaleidoscopic compositions that create interesting abstracted patterns of light, focus and depth.
